My wife and I maintain a rather large plot of land near the middle of our beautiful city. We have several flower beds, but have left vegetable and food plants behind. Nearly all of the plants are perennials, making the garden much easier to maintain. We also only grow those plants that do well in our zone. If a plant doesn't make it, due to weather, soil conditions, bad winter, etc. it is replaced with something more hardy in our area. Below are some pictures of our garden. Enjoy, differently than we do, but enjoy nevertheless.
